A small beginning.
A lasting obsession.
The first experiments happened at home, roasting tiny batches in an air popcorn popper. In February 2015, the brothers bought a six-pound air roaster and began sharing fresh coffee beyond family and friends.
Aerís takes its name from the Latin word associated with air—a nod to that roasting method.

Aerís sells single-origin bags rather than retail blends. Washed Central and South American coffees lean toward medium; fruit-forward, more intensively processed lots are roasted lighter to express their character.
